Full Day Horse Tour Cotopaxi

This full day excursion is for those who want a more in-depth experience of the natural wonders to be found in the Cotopaxi National Park. We offer world class services in this unique location 3600 meters above sea level (11808 ft).
During the full day tour you will experience all the beautiful views of the three hour tour including stunning views up the Cotopaxi Valley and the beautiful surrounding volcanoes such as Ruminahui, Sincholagua. As well as in the horizon the beauty of Corazon, Atacazo and Pichincha Volcanoes. This tour additionally provides the opportunity to further explore the area of the famous Cotopaxi Volcano and as you climb the slopes of this natural wonder the views of the surrounding landscapes are like nowhere else in the world. It allows the rider to get up close to giant rocks formed by past lava flows and the impressionable rivers formed by past eruptions.
Our beautiful trails are a sight to be seen with a variety of impressionable mountain and forest views. The diverse landscapes range from paramo forest to panoramic settings overlooking 5 stunning volcanoes in the middle of the Ecuadorian. There is no better way to enjoy all of this natural beauty than on the back of one of our horses.

For the health and wellbeing of our horses, we have a strict rider weight limit of 100 kilograms or 220 lbs Strictly one rider per horse. Cancellation within 24 hours will incur a 100% charge.

FROM QUITO (map directions)
By car: Approximately 1 hour and 45 Minutes south of Quito. From Quito head south along the Pan-American highway (E35) until Machachi. Then from there we are about another 25 kms on the way to El Pedregal, which is the northeast entrance of Cotopaxi National Park.
By Bus: If you do not have your own transportation, we recommend you take a bus that goes to Ambato or to the south of the country and stop in Machachi. From Machachi you can get a pick up truck going in the direction of El Pedregal until you reach the northeast entrance of Cotopaxi National Park where we are located. The ride in truck is approximately 25 kms.
FROM BANOS (map directions)
By car: We are approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes north of Banos. From Banos take the E30 north to Ambato and from there take the Pan-American highway (E35) north in the direction of Quito until you reach Machachi. Then from there we are about another 25 kms in the direction of El Pedregal, which is the northeast entrance of Cotopaxi National Park.
By Bus: If you do not have your own transportation, we recommend you take a bus that goes to Quito and stop in Machachi. From Machachi you can get a pick up truck going in the direction of El Pedregal until you reach the northeast entrance of Cotopaxi National Park where we are located.
